This document sets out the terms of use, limitations of liability, and obligations that users of the website www.taxienlaspalmas.com and the Taxi Las Palmas mobile app agree to accept and comply with.

Through the Taxi Las Palmas app and the website www.taxienlaspalmas.com, we collect the following personal data when a user creates an account or makes a booking:

Full name
Email address
Phone number
ID document (national ID/passport), when required for the journey
Pickup address and destination
Date and time of the trip
Booking history
Any additional comments or notes the user chooses to include

We do not collect GPS location data from the device; addresses are entered manually by the user.

2. Purpose of processing

The data collected is used exclusively to:

Manage and confirm taxi bookings
Contact the user regarding their booking (confirmations, changes, incidents)
Comply with legal and tax obligations arising from the provision of the service

3. Legal basis

The processing of data is based on:

Performance of the contract/service requested by the user (the trip booking)
The user’s consent, given upon accepting this policy when making a booking

4. Data retention

Personal data will be retained for as long as necessary to manage the booking, and subsequently for the periods required under applicable tax and commercial regulations.

5. Data recipients

Data is not shared with or sold to third parties. It is processed solely by the owner, Mr. Oscar Manuel Reyes García, for the direct provision of the taxi service.

Data may be hosted on servers operated by technology providers (such as Google Firebase), acting as data processors under the GDPR, solely for the technical operation of the app.

6. User rights

Users may exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction, and data portability at any time by emailing info@taxienlaspalmas.com, indicating the name and details used at registration.

7. Data security

We have implemented the necessary technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of personal data and to prevent its alteration, loss, unauthorized processing, or access, including encryption of communications (HTTPS/TLS).

This service is not intended for minors. Taxi bookings must be made by a person of legal age.

9. Changes to this privacy policy

We reserve the right to amend this policy to reflect legislative developments or changes to the service. Any changes will be published on this same page.
